What are Verse Warrior NFT’s for?

Verse Warriors are a unique 1 to 1 Warrior card. They each represent a 1 of a kind Warrior of one of 3 factions.  Each Warrior includes a randomly generated appearance, armour, weapon/s and combat stats (based on equipment). Warriors have utility through our online, multiplayer game the Verse War.

What is the Verse War?

The Verse War is a War between the 3 factions (Ork, Elves and Humans) for control over the Verse. The Verse War is a game played through our website where players can free roam a massive open battlefield with their friends. The Verse War is played in Seasons with each season rewarding participating and remaining faction Verse Warriors with Trade Share.

Q:

A:

What is the Reward?

50% of the Royalties from trading volume of all Verse Warriors on Opensea is sent to an external wallet called the Verse Wallet. Once Season 1 of the Verse War has ended the remaining (winning) faction warriors will be rewarded based on their “Contribution” to the Verse War. The Verse wallet is split based on contribution by the remaining faction Verse Warriors.

Q:

A:

Are the 3 factions balanced?

Yes, our NFT generator is completely custom and built in house. During the balancing phase we numerously balanced the generation of the 3 factions, traits, epics and legendary spawns to give our Factions a fair experience.

Q:

Tell us more about the legendary spawns?

All Verse Warriors have a chance to spawn multiple different epic and legendary traits. these can include vampire and cyclops traits and weapons and armour combinations. Each character is truly unique. There are more traits that we do not want to reveal.

How does movement work in the Verse War?

There are 2 game cycles that take a period of time to finish. The movement cycle allows players to log into our website via their Metamask wallet and move their characters. Movement amount depends on 2 factors, if the land is claimed by their faction and the terrain the player is moving across.

How does combat work in the Verse War?

There are 2 game cycles that take a period of time to finish. Combat occurs when 2 or 3 factions are contesting the same tile.

Verse Warriors will be randomly pitted in 1v1 combat until there is only one faction remaining.

Verse Warriors injured will then roll a D10 to see how long they are injured for before they can re-spawn or in an unlikely event die for the remainder of the season.

Q:

A:

Tell us more about the 1v1 combat?

Each Verse Warrior has 4 unique stats that contribute to combat. Attack, Defence, Initiative and health.

Stats are variable and depend on traits.

During combat a log is created showing which Verse Warriors fought and the results of that combat.

1 Attack represents 10% chance of hit while 1 defence represents 10% chance of defence.

Combat continues until there is only one faction left.

What is the experience you are trying to create with Verse Warriors?

Firstly we want to bring utility to our NFT’s and push block chain technology.

Our main aesthetic is to have a massive open world with multiple communities within each faction. We want to create a truly decentralised community based diplomacy system that has not been seen before.

We expect to see and encourage multiple smaller factions working together for a greater goal.

For example, Orks have different skin colours such as red skins, blue skins and green skins. It could be possible that a clan is formed which only allows Orks with specific traits or combat abilities to join. These smaller “clans” could then move and attack where they see fit.

Q:

A:

Will there be more than one Verse War Map?

Yes. When the first Verse War starts we will begin to develop the second map and begin testing and balancing. We aim to have 2 or 3 seasons per map. This will be ongoing!

Q:

A:

How long will a season last for?

This is dependant on how aggressive and defensive each faction is. The most important part of a faction is how well organised they are. A well organised faction is the most dangerous. Organisation is completely in the players hands!

Q:

A:

Any other tasty secrets?

Additional collections are planned for a 4th faction and deployable buildings that will act as defensive or respawn points (see roadmap)
